Wedding Events ~
Historic events deserve beautiful historic settings.
Whether it be an intimate rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception; The Batcheller Mansion is honored to offer our historic inn and gardens as the setting for this important life event. We are proud to have hosted many intimate Saratoga weddings and receptions. Some people choose to get married here at the inn. Others select one of the local churches. Some opt for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, just across the street in historic Congress Park, then stroll back to the inn for the celebration. The bridal party and/or families can enjoy the comfort of staying right here at the inn at a 10% discount. We will also extend the offer if you and your guests would like to arrive a day earlier!
We can accommodate up to one hundred invited guests for outdoor events and up to seventy for indoor only events, dependent upon type of service desired (see social events for capacities). Less than 20 guests? Give us a call for very special rates....
Rental Includes:
- An eight hour rental of the mansion to include the use of first floor common rooms;
library, dining room, parlor, porches and outside grounds.
- Our staff coordinator to supervise the event setup and vendors on the day of event.
- A butler/doorman complete with white gloves during actual function.
- A private bridal suite that may be accessed 2 hours prior to the event start time,
and is available for duration of event.
- Full use of all common areas of the mansion and grounds for wedding event filming
and/or photography.
- Ceremony use at no additional charge.
Rental Period:
The rental period is for Eight hours or less. Five hours are allotted for the actual function, with two hours allotted for set-up and one hour for clean-up and close. The rental time for wedding events may be from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m, with earlier availability (8 a.m.-12 p.m.) if you and your guests reserve the mansion for the prior day.
